Sue (Crank) Baldwin

Sue (Crank) Baldwin, age 80 of Fairfield, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022. Sue was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 3, 1941 to the late Clyda (Flynn) and Norman Crank, Sr.

Sue attended Hamilton Big Blue and she looked forward to her luncheons with her classmates, “The 59er.” Sue worked many years in the catalog department at Sears, she also worked several years at P&G. Sue was never afraid of hard work however, she played as hard as she worked. She was truly the life of the party. Her children and grandchildren always looked forward to holidays at her house, there was never a dull moment. She also had a huge heart for her nieces and nephews. Every year at our “Baldwin Family Reunion”, Aunt Sue was known for showing up with the treat bags for all of the kids, they loved them so much that on occasion a 40-year-old niece or nephew would get in line to receive one of those famous bags. Sue met the love of her life, Dennis, while attending church. She was a member of Hamilton Christian Center where she raised her family. She also loved attending Princeton Pike Church of God.

Her family has suffered a great loss, however we will try to be like her and look outward, love others, give when you see someone in need, and be the “party” wherever you go.

Sue will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 59 years, Dennis Baldwin; her daughter, Kimberly (Thomas) Mallaley; her son, Brandon Clay (Phyllis) Baldwin; her grandchildren, Sarah (Michael), Ross (Heidi) , Natalie (Thomas), and Olivia; her great-grandchildren, Harper, Isabella, Elliana, and Myla; as well as many extended family members and close friends.

Sue is reunited in Heaven with her son, Mark Dennis Baldwin; her brothers, Dain Crank and Norman Crank, Jr.; and her great-granddaughter, Ruth Eleanor.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Hamilton Christian Center, 1940 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, with Rev. Johnny Wade Sloan officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
