Timothy Martin Hill, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and dedicated military veteran, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023, at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on March 7, 1945, in Hamilton, Ohio, to parents Martin and Norma (Bratton) Hill.
On November 7, 1989, Timothy married the love of his life, Robyn Damron Hill, forging a bond of love and companionship that would endure for a lifetime. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Timothy's legacy is carried forward by his loving family. He is survived by his two sons, Karl and Dirk Hill, and his four daughters, Kristi (Robert Bates), Jenni (Douglas Brott), Kim, and Becky (Tim Frady). His pride and joy were his 13 grandsons, 6 granddaughters, 2 great-grandsons, and 1 great-granddaughter. He is also survived by his sister, Lois, and brother-in-law, Rick, as well as many nieces and nephews. His spirit lives on in each of them.
Timothy was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Norma (Bratton) Hill, but their memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Timothy dedicated 23 years of his life to the United States Army, serving with unwavering commitment and valor. He bravely completed three tours of duty in Vietnam, earning numerous military honors and medals. Among these accolades, he was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal with 4 battle stars, the Army Commendation Medal with a second oak leaf, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, and the M16A1 Rifle Expert designation, among others.
A military honor ceremony will be held to commemorate Timothy's outstanding service. The ceremony will take place at Forest Run Metro Park, located at 1810 New London Road, Hamilton, Ohio, on August 26, 2023, at 12:30 PM. Following the ceremony, family and friends will gather for a celebration of Timothy's life, sharing stories and memories of the remarkable man he was.
In the hearts of all who knew him, Timothy Martin Hill will forever be remembered for his unwavering love, bravery, and dedication to both his family and his beloved country. His memory will continue to inspire and uplift us all.
