William F. Bowling

William F. Bowling, age 54 of Hamilton went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Hamilton on May 5, 1954 the son of Palmer A. and June (Deering) Bowling. Bill was employed at Pacific Manufacturing, and was a former employee of Champion Paper. He was a member of Oxford Baptist Church. Bill enjoyed golfing and being with family, especially his grandson. On October 20, 1973 he married Kathie L. Barnett.

He is survived by his wife, Kathie Bowling of Hamilton; his son, Billy (Christina) Bowling of Hamilton; his daughter, Stacey Bowling of Dayton; a grandson, Bryson Bowling; two brothers, Speed (Lisa) Bowling and Jim Bowling, both of Hamilton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Thelma Barnett of Fairfield; sisters-in-law Linda (Paul) Webb of Hamilton, Bev (Tim) Crist of Hamilton, Deborah (Ron) Kuhn of Fairfield; brothers-in-law Charlie (Debbie) Barnett, Mike (Debbie) Barnett, both of Fairfield, and Jeff (Gerilyn) Barnett of Cincinnati; numerous nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Greg (Gwenda) Laney of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and a brother-in-law, Gary Barnett.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Rudy Allen of Oxford Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Oxford Baptist Church, Dr. Richards, his nurse Shirley and staff, Hospice of Cincinnati, and The Gebhart Center for all their excellent care and concern.
