William "Bill" Loftus

William “Bill” Loftus, age 57 of Wayne Township, passed away at his residence on Saturday, January 16, 2021.  Bill was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 11, 1963 the son of William F. and Felicia (Boroski) Loftus.  He was a 1981 graduate of St. Edward High School and graduated from University of Akron in 1986. On May 2, 1992 in Cleveland, Ohio he married Marita Guthrie.  Bill was employed at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for thirty years, retiring in 2018.

Bill is survived by his wife, Marita Loftus; two children, Brittany (fiancé Sam Banks) Loftus and Logan Loftus; his parents, William and Felicia Loftus; two siblings, Gregory (Maureen) Loftus and Sheila (Ken) Ferguson; mother-in-law, Helen Guthrie; father-in-law, Charles C. Guthrie; two brothers-in-law, Charles L. (Erica) Guthrie and Tim (Valerie) Guthrie; nieces and nephews, Dan (Jessica) Guthrie, Jeren (Adam) McCluskey, Ryan Loftus, Maureen Loftus, Kathleen Loftus, Rachel Ferguson, Jackie Guthrie, and Joe Ferguson; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Barry Clardy of Princeton Pike Church of God officiating.  Burial will follow at Somerville Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O.
